These new zipper pouches come from materials given to me by my family. The denim jeans were given to me by my niece and the tea towel was given to me by my parents, who received it at a wedding they attended. I like the results and I'm happy I could give these items new purpose as zipper pouches. They have a felt lining which makes them very sturdy. What to do with the extra short zippers in my grab bag order of 50 zippers I received recently? Put them in the back of a sock monkey, of course, with a nice soft little felt pouch for hiding special things!

Here's my latest obsession- fused plastic bag lunch bags. Using the same pattern as my oilcloth lunch bags, but these are a more eco-friendly alternative, fused plastic bags. So if you have any extra plastic bags, I'll take them!
A couple of weeks ago I received an email from a fellow Etsyian, Danceswithcolors. She was asking if she could purchase my wholesale listing of Repurposed Notebooks, decorate the covers, and resell them in her shop. A quick look at her shop and I thought it was a great idea! She's super creative and I thought it would be fun! She finished them and I love the results!
My brand new Felt Heart Mobile was featured on Paper Girl Productions blog! I have them in the shop and listed for sale in my 1000 Markets shop.
My family is celebrating Christmas together tomorrow so I spent yesterday mixing and baking a bazillion cookies and I also took a 2 hour walk and hunted gloves for my gLove Story Dolls. I was very successful and found a total of 33 gloves, 6 alone on my short walk from the store to the laundromat to wash them this morning, and 4 pairs among the group. My favorites are the boxing glove and the little knit mitten. I hit the mother lode in the parking lot behind the Bellevue Avenue and Valley Road shops. The still icy sidewalks and plowed snow piles made it challenging but I was super pleased with my haul. It felt like a great Christmas present to me!
I finished up some new sock mawnstas and new sewing pattern collage tree decorations just in time for the Montclair Co-op Holiday Shopping Fair today. It runs from 3pm to 9pm. It's my last craft event and I'm looking forward to it!
