My store hours are changing for 2009. I've also added a mailing list link and I encourage everyone to sign up for emails about new merchandise or upcoming crafts shows and events. New store hours:

Merry gLoveMas Day To Me

My family is celebrating Christmas together tomorrow so I spent yesterday mixing and baking a bazillion cookies and I also took a 2 hour walk and hunted gloves for my gLove Story Dolls. I was very successful and found a total of 33 gloves, 6 alone on my short walk from the store to the laundromat to wash them this morning, and 4 pairs among the group. My favorites are the boxing glove and the little knit mitten. I hit the mother lode in the parking lot behind the Bellevue Avenue and Valley Road shops. The still icy sidewalks and plowed snow piles made it challenging but I was super pleased with my haul. It felt like a great Christmas present to me!

Co-op Holiday Shopping Fair Today

I finished up some new sock mawnstas and new sewing pattern collage tree decorations just in time for the Montclair Co-op Holiday Shopping Fair today. It runs from 3pm to 9pm. It's my last craft event and I'm looking forward to it!

Maxing Out My Opportunity

When I booked 4 events in 3 days for this past weekend I thought I would be running around like crazy and completely exhausted the entire time. Happily, this wasn't the case at all. The 2 consecutive shows on Saturday were both local and I had just the right amount of time between shows to relax and eat dinner before heading back out. Organization also helped a lot to reduce my anxiety. I have my items packed into 4 rubbermaid tubs which fit perfectly into my car. The weekend was a great experience for me. I built up my sales skills a lot since I talked to so many people about my products. Visit my Flickr  page for all the pics from the events.

Newest Action Figure

Yesterday we got a new addition to the action figure collection, The Waitress. This action figure is a tribute to all those hard-working waitresses! Thanks for putting up with all of our silly menu questions, finicky standards and ridiculous requests, all while keeping a smile on your face. She comes with a removable serving tray, two plates (breakfast & lunch) and a removable cloth apron!
