Chair Massage

I ordered a massage chair, like the one pictured but in black to match my table. I can't wait to set it up and do chair massage in the shop. Or take it to an event somewhere else. It's gonna be great to have.

Networking

Besides spending a lot of time making monkeys and dolls I've been networking a lot. I'm really glad I started the Flickr site because not only does it organize my growing picture collection but it made me realize just how many gLove Story Dolls I've made in the past year!

Franklin Street Studios

My key chain is a little lighter today. My year at the Franklin Street Studios is over. It was a great experience, I met great people there and really enjoyed my time. Thanks to all the women there, especially Mona and Kathryn, for letting me be part of it for one short year!          

Mixing It Up

Here's a few pics from the shop yesterday: Blue Q sent a couple backordered items, the Instant Rehab breath spray and the Know it All breath spray; Last Supper After Dinner Mints from Accoutrements; super cute punny valentines from Hoopla; the store decked out in repurposed encyclopedia page paper cranes; lots of billfolds.

Old Favorites

Yesterday we got a small backorder from Accoutrements that included the bacon wallet and the martian popping thing, 2 old favorites at the shop.

A New Look

I gave the blog a new look, in case you didn't notice. I took away the column of thumbnail pictures on the left and now it's 3 columns. This gives me more freedom to add things like the Etsy Mini and widgets which I couldn't do before. Maybe you wouldn't have noticed if I didn't say anything?

Lots of new stuff up on Etsy. Of course, it's all available at the store too!

Winter Sale

Our winter sale started this week. Not only are a lot of great items 50% off but all the invites and thank yous from the old store are making an appearance for the sale and they're 50% off too!

Politics and Poop

Today I got a new order from Blue Q, a great Made in the USA company. I got new breath sprays and lip balms but my favorite items in the order were the political air fresheners and the new small books. The Evil Banana pictures banana peels in different accident scenarios as if they were the cause of the mayhem. But they're so delicious, could it really be their fault? The Sprinkle Brigade search the streets of NYC for piles of poop and place props around, in, and on it. Don't look at this book when you're eating, but it's hysterical.

Kids Valentines

The boxed kids valentines came in yesterday from Peaceable Kingdom. The sock monkey sets are perfect for us!
