More Camping Pics

Camping=Fun

I went camping this weekend and had a great time. I ate s'mores for breakfast and hiked around, enjoyed the campfire and watching the bats fly around at twilight. It's been a long summer, and an even longer year, so much going on. It was great to get away and enjoy the forest and forget about reality, just for a few days.

Nice Surprise

This morning I had a nice surprise when I checked my eBay store. I got 2 more positive feedbacks overnight and reached 100 so I got a turquoise star! I'll have this one for a while because it represents 100 - 499 positive feedbacks.

Great Response

Wow, the response has been amazing to the news that I'm reopening! It really reaffirms my decision. It will be really different from Church Street, in many ways. The selection will be smaller simply because the store is smaller. But that's a good thing for me. It will be easier to manage. I'll still have a small selection of cards but it will be highly selective since the space is so limited, MikWright and Nobleworks and maybe one more line. This is a MikWright card. Inside it says: yes ma'am, how many frequent flyer miles would it take to send someone nonstop to hell?

Fancy Sign

I'll have a sign for the front of the shop. It will be similar in style to the other shops in that row. I think it will catch your attention.

NY Gift Fair August Edition

Yesterday I attended the NY Gift Fair with my buddy Monica. It was a beautiful day and I felt energetic and excited. We were less organized than usual but we managed to get through it and feel like we had a successful day. We laughed our asses off at Anne Taintor's booth, laughed them off all over again ordering MikWright notepads, and once again at Accoutrements where they had my favorite item of the entire show. The Assistant Manager Pennant is at the top of my list of must have items!

To Do List

I put this to do list in the window at the shop with a sock monkey hanging next to it and some tissue paper flowers along the bottom of the windows. I spent some time there getting ideas and I'm really excited. I was so happy that I got the same phone and fax numbers! No new numbers to memorize!

Key In Hand

So here's the new home of Copabananas- 547 Valley Road, Upper Montclair. It's been a VERY interesting year! When it came down to it, I just couldn't dissolve the corporation without giving a shop another go. I'm really excited! This shop is much smaller so it won't have as much inventory. It will mostly be the novelty items from Accoutrements, books from Chronicle, magnets from Blue Q, MikWright, Anne Taintor, Kikkerland, Present Time, all the favorites. I'm shooting for mid-September to reopen and we'll have a huge grand reopening. So stay tuned for updates and tell everyone you know! It's good to be back!
