Accoutrements

Today I got in the Accoutrements order that I placed at Toy Fair. So much good stuff! I'll post about it over the next couple of days and also add it to the eBay store. I worked on the website today building the shopping pages. This is my favorite item out of the order today- the bacon wallet is porkeriffic!

Voodoo Dolls

I finally remembered to photograph the voodoo dolls at the studio today. And yesterday Abby and I went on a very successful glove hunt. This mitten is the first new member from that group but we haven't named it yet.

Fabricipation

Fabricipation means I ordered fabric today and the anticipation is killing me because I can't wait to get it so I can make more bags and voodoo dolls!

3D Cat Cards

The 3D cat cards are fun to play with. Each card is a different cat image that moves when the card moves. But the jokers are dogs, what's up with that?

Yellow Star

It's small and yellow and sweet and worth the wait! I got my yellow star on the eBay store!!!!

City Compass

These great compasses are specifically designed for different cities. They make great gifts for people travelling to those destinations. Now I have the whole series which includes NYC, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington DC, and Boston.

On Consignment

Yesterday Abby and I brought the bags, wall hangings, and gLove Story Friends to Quilts and Such in Lyndhurst. Filomena, the owner, took everything on consignment, while Abby was in heaven petting the resident big baby bunny, Bunsy. The shop was very cool and Filomena was very gracious to us. I had to price everything before we went. Abby and I prepared the gLove Story dolls by photographing and naming each one. Then I printed them onto card stock, cut that out, and sewed it onto their thumb (arm) as their price tag. It added to each one's individuality and looked very cool. There were 3 she just couldn't part with, and we decided to give the one we named after my studio-mate's dog, Vivi, to her. For the wall hangings, I scanned the fabric each one was made from, printed that out with the price printed on it, cut it into a small square and sewed that on. That looked cool because it blended in with the fabric but still worked as a price tag. The bags I had already priced with tags I made from the scanned buttons. And, of course, the price tags said Montclair Made.

Lookin' Good

The eBay store is looking good! I just listed all the new items that came in yesterday and I added 2 new categories- Political Humor and Novelties.

Back Again For The First Time

I got in both series of the Bush Coasters. They make fun of Bush's grammatical errors and sayings that just make no sense. These are so funny, in a makes-you-cringe kind of way. My favorite one says “It’s clearly a budget, it’s got a lot of numbers in it.”
